Turn Lock Coupler "TLC"
Aqua-Bound's Ray Series take-apart paddles combine carbon fiber shafts and blades made of injection molded abX resins reinforced with fiberglass or carbon fiber for superior strength and stiffness. These high-performance paddles offer an unbeatable weight-to-toughness ratio at a great price. The detachable blades and split shafts of the four-piece paddles take apart easily to fit inside your kayak or a Feathercraft backpack. All Ray Series paddles are available with the TLC adjustable ferrule system.

Carbon-Epoxy Laminate Paddles
In addition to the "Ray" series with abX resin blades, Aqua-Bound has developed even lighter weight paddles with carbon twill shafts and carbon-epoxy laminate blades. Kokatat is proud to be the only paddle sports manufacturer to make 100% of their PFDs in the U.S.A. Each model is designed for comfort and safety, and each PFD is carefully constructed and inspected before leaving the production facility. All Kokatat PFDs are approved by the U.S. Coast Guard and meet or exceed buoyancy requirements.
We recommend that float bags be used at all times in kayaks without bulkheads (unless bow and stern compartments are filled with gear in water-proof storage bags). Float bags displace water and offer added buoyancy to prevent your kayak from swamping in case you capsize. In addition, we highly recommend use of a sea sock. Kayak Float Bag Set

Feathercraft four-piece fiberglass paddles are lightweight (2.15 lb) and will fit into the same pack as your boat. Paddles can be adjusted to be feathered or unfeathered. The Cormorant (medium-wide blade: 16.5 cm, or 6.5") is a good width for general-purpose paddling. 220 cm, 230 cm or 245 cm Cormorant $ 315 The Flicker (narrow blade: 13.5 cm, or 5.25") has a narrower blade that provides a bit less power, but eases stress on wrists and shoulders and offers less wind-resistance. The beautiful, two-piece Klatwa is patterned after the traditional Greenland-style paddle. It is hand-crafted from sitka spruce and reinforced with a center spear of ash. Feathercraft has developed an awesome new sailing rig that can be used to sail downwind, across the wind, or even into the wind. Check out this video, Wind seeker in action. This new outrigger sailing rig allows you to sail, paddle, or paddle and sail your kayak. Now you can plan a sailing trip anywhere in the world. Turn Lock Coupler (TLC) is an easy-to-use adjustable ferrule system that
provides a solid joint without play. Choose between 0, 30, 45, and 60-degree
feather angle, right or left-hand control. Adjust while paddling, no keys
or tools to misplace.

Constructed with 200-denier waterproof urethane-coated nylon,
these lightweight, envelope-style dry bags slide easily into your folding
kayak. Stratus dry sacks are the perfect solution when space and weight are
a concern, and we use them on all our folding kayak adventures. The Super-Seal
3-roll closure offers great water protection. These wonderful dry bags have
been discontinued, but we still have X-Small and X-Long. X-Small size is
great for a first aid kit or emergency kit, and extra-long is great for sleeping
pads and clothing.
The
sturdy 600-denier polyester on the bottom and ends of this easy-to-carry
mesh duffel will endure years of abuse. High-strength mesh allows wet gear
to dry, reducing mildew and other moisture-related problems. The 24-inch
Purest Duffel is the perfect size for a carry-on bag on the airlines. (We
use this duffel to carry food in bear-resistant canisters to Alaska.)
We finally found the perfect binoculars for kayak trips. These
high resolution, fully multi-coated, BaK-4 roof prism binoculars are
nitogen-filled and completely waterproof and fogproof. They are powerful
enough to enjoy viewing distant wildlife, but not too powerful to preclude
use from your kayak under most conditions. Built-in lens caps protect the
precision lenses when you toss these binocs into your deck bag or pack. Small
enough to fit into a PFD pocket, these binocs offer excellent image quality
and good light gathering capabilities. Long eye relief (18.5 mm) allows viewing
while wearing eyeglasses.

This is a great stove, and we have had good success taking it
on planes and purchasing Isobutane/propane canisters at our paddling
destination. It is the most advanced
Primus stove - perfect for multi-day trips and traveling in foreign countries.
Runs on white gas, unleaded gasoline, butane or propane gas canisters,
diesel, kerosene/paraffin, and other petroleum-based fuels. The newly designed
burner has a pre-heating system that saves fuel and minimizes the priming
time. Durable tripod legs and non-slip pot supports provide a truly stable
cooking platform. The adjustable flame goes from a simmer to a virtual
blow torch. Turning the liquid fuel bottle upside down turns off the stove
and burns the remaining fuel in the fuel line to prevent spills and flare-ups.
Comes with three interchangeable jet nipples for optimal combustion of different
fuels.
Scotty bilge pumps are designed to be used
with the Feathercraft sea sock (the sea sock material will not clog the pump
intake). Pump includes neoprene sleeve with Feathercraft logo for flotation.
Two lengths available: 24" (61cm) for the K2 and Klondike and 15" (38cm)
for all Feathercraft singles.
The Feathercraft pack cart is specifically designed for carrying
Feathercraft kayaks in their backpacks, including the K2 duffel bag. Use
the cart for handling your pack in airports, train stations, parking lots
or city streets. The pack cart can also be used to wheel around an assembled
kayak. This handy cart weighs 2.25 pounds and it comes in its own stuff sack.

Wind Seeker Sail Kit
Two
styles of downwind sail rig are available, too. The Klondike and K2 both
come ready to accept an asymmetrical sail that can be used as a spinnaker
or genoa. The sail is easy to use, and the take-a-part mast stores easily
inside the kayak when not in use. The K1 can be ordered with a frame adaptation
to accept the spinnaker sail rig.
For
simple downwind sailing, we offer a new easy-to-mount detachable bracket
for use with the Spirit Sail, a Polynesian-style 'V' sail. No mast. No lines.
The mounting bracket can be installed on any of our kayaks, including the

The
personal tether attaches you to your kayak so that you cannot be separated
from it in the event of a wet exit. The Feathercraft tether features a small
stuff sack which holds approximately 15 feet of webbing. You attach one end
of the webbing to your kayak and the other end to either a quick release
waist-belt or to your PFD. We especially recommend the tether for our sit-on-top
kayaks. If you capsize in strong wind you may not be able to swim fast enough
to catch your drifting kayak. Always detach the tether before entering beach
surf to avoid entanglement.
In strong winds and rough seas, deployment of a sea anchor will force your
bow back into the wind, reduce drift substantially, and restore stability
allowing you to go about the business of pumping out, resting, and making
repairs, if necessary.
Attach
these external air tubes to each side of the kayak for exceptional stability
during re-entry.
Adjustable
webbing straps allows the skeg to fit on a variety of kayak models.
