K2 Expedition

The renowned K2 Expedition is a fast, high-volume, double touring kayak designed for performance, maximum storage capacity, and stability. This is the kayak you see on multi-day expeditions to exotic shores all around the globe. The most recent edition of the K2 is 20' long, has a 33" beam, and weighs 87 pounds.

The K2 easily accommodates larger paddlers, and with a payload capacity of more than 700 pounds, it carries plenty of gear for extended trips. New K2 models incorporate the integral cockpit coaming sand thigh brace systems.

Standard equipment includes: integral cockpit coamings, double-coated nylon spray skirts, bow and stern hatches, a large surf rudder, expedition seats with lumbar support, double-coated nylon sea socks, full deck rigging, pack bags, repair kit, assembly DVD and written instructions. The K2 and all your kayaking gear fit into a duffel-style pack bag and a smaller over-the-shoulder carrying bag. Assembly takes about 45 minutes for two people.
