Khatsalano

The Khatsalano is a graceful Greenland-style kayak designed for speed and optimum performance for the experienced paddler. The snug cockpit and integral thigh braces provide a feeling of being one with your kayak. The Khatsalano is 17' 10" long, has a 22" beam, and weighs 45 pounds.

With a payload of 300 pounds, this low-profile kayak can be used for multi-day trips if gear is packed efficiently in smaller dry bags.

Standard equipment includes: integral cockpit coaming, all-neoprene spray skirt, double-coated nylon sea sock, bow and stern hatches, full deck rigging, bow and stern float bags, expedition seat with lumbar support, travel-style backpack, repair kit, assembly DVD and written instructions. Khatsalano-S

The skin for the "S" model is cut fuller than the Khatsalano, allowing larger diameter sponsons for a wider beam. This feature adds comfortable initial and secondary stability for the intermediate paddler. The Khatsalano-S is 17'10" long, has a 23.5" beam, and weighs 49 pounds. The payload is 319 pounds. It comes with the same standard equipment as the Khatsalano, but also includes a surf rudder.
