The versatile Klondike features an open cockpit design which can easily
be converted from the standard double configuration to a single. If you want
to include a third smaller passenger, a center seat and three-person spray
deck is also available. The Klondike handles easily and is quite fast --
it is 17'10" long, has a 31" beam, and weighs 75.5 pounds.
This medium-volume double will carry a payload up to 500 pounds. Standard
equipment includes: integral cockpit coaming, a two-person spray deck, two
double-coated nylon spray skirts, bow and stern sea
socks, bow
and stern hatches, a large surf rudder, full deck rigging, expedition seats
with lumbar support, pack bags, repair kit, assembly DVD and written
instructions.
A one-person spray deck, three-person spray deck and third seat, and the asymmetrical sail are optional. The Klondike packs into
a duffel-style pack bag and a smaller over-the-shoulder carrying bag. Assembly
