Complete Folding Kayaker - 2nd Edition, Diaz, Ralph. Camden, Maine: Ragged Mountain Press/McGraw-Hill, 2002. It includes discussions about folding kayak development and design, comparative information on the major brands, buying tips, paddling techniques, kayak camping, and traveling with a folding kayak.

Sit-On-Top Kayaking, Tom Holtey. GeoOdyssey Publications. $14.95 -- This is a good resource for paddlers interested in sit-on-top kayaking.

Fundamentals of Kayak Navigation, Burch, David. Old Saybrook, Connecticut: The Globe Pequot Press, 1993, 2nd edition [320 pages], $14.95 -- This book is a "must read" for all open water kayakers. It covers all aspects of navigation that relate to kayaking, including chart reading, compass use, dead reckoning, tides and currents, route planning, etc.
