Packtach Tie-down
Alpacka rafts are
now available with an attached spray deck and spray skirt.
The deck is welded to the raft during construction, so you must order it
when you order your raft.
-
The new deck is very dry, relies on nano-lite
aluminum tent poles for its rigid structure, and
weighs 14.5 oz. including the skirt, deck, and
frame. This deck really does take the boats to a
new level of performance.
Attached spray deck and skirt $250
Aqua-Bound Paddles
Aqua-Bound's
four-piece take apart paddles combine carbon fiber shafts and
blades made of injection molded abX resins reinforced with carbon fiber for superior strength and stiffness. These high-performance
paddles offer an unbeatable weight-to-toughness ratio. The
detachable blades and split shafts fit easily
inside your backpack.
If you're paddling shallow, rocky rivers, we
suggest the whitewater
Shred paddle; this paddle is a bit heavier than the Manta Ray and will hold up
better for bashing through rock gardens. If you're paddling more open
water, the Manta Ray is lighter weight. Both
paddles are designed for maximum power and efficiency. The 210-cm. size
is the optimal length to clear the raft tubes.Shred

Manta Ray Carbon 4-piece 210 cm. (29.5 oz.) $195
Inflation Bag
All Alpacka rafts come with an ultra-light inflation
bag. With practice,
you can inflate your boat quickly and easily. The
inflation bag's threaded nozzle screws into your boat's
main valve, and you inflate your raft by scooping air into
the the inflation bag and "squeezing" it into the boat.
Experienced pack rafters can fill a boat in about a
minute. Constructed of Sil-nylon, the bag can be rolled
up and stuffed into your pack. Weight 3 oz.Inflation

Packtach Tie-down
The
1.25-oz. Packtach is a simple, lightweight, and effective way to secure
a backpack or other gear to the bow of your
Alpacka. Features include:
- Center-Pull Quick Release The
Packtach uses a special, highly secure,
quick-release buckle. This buckle is
durable, doesn't release "accidentally", and can be quickly released, even
when heavily loaded.
- Tie-On Attachment We chose a
simple tie-on attachment method for the Packtach
system. Use secure knots to attach the system
to your boat's front grab
loops.
- Flat Lie When not in use, a
well-rigged Packtach lies flat on the
bow of your boat, presenting the least possible
entanglement hazard. Nonetheless, when running
brushy creeks or other water with high entanglement
hazards, you may wish to "strip" your boat of this
or anything else that could snag.
Packtach Tie-down $15
