GORE-TEX® IMMERSION® Technology Dry Suits GFE - Front Entry Dry Suit
Sturdy Kokatat IMMERSION® Technology dry suits are essential equipment for kayakers, rafters, sailors, and other outdoor enthusiasts heading into expedition conditions in cold water. Color: Cobalt/Mango - men's, Cobalt/Mango and Black/Plum - women's. The Meridian dry suit (GME) is the same as the GORE-TEX® IMMERSION® Front Entry suit, but with the addition of an overskirt and smoothskin neoprene waist band. Kayakers position this overskirt over their neoprene spray skirt tunnel to keep water out of the cockpit. This feature works with all spray skirts that have a neoprene tunnel and is essential for whitewater kayakers. Made of 1.87-oz. ripstop nylon 3-layer GORE-TEX® XCR® laminate, this anorak is completely waterproof, breathable, and remarkably lightweight. XCR® stands for Extended Comfort Range. This material is 25 percent more breathable than classic GORE-TEX®. The TecTOUR has the essential drysuit wrist gaskets to keep water out of the sleeves, but the paddle-jacket-style adjustable Lycra® neck closure allows maximum ventilation and comfort. (Paddling jackets without drysuit wrist gaskets allow water up your sleeves, and when you raise your arms, water runs down your back!) The well-designed hood moves with your head when you look around and it provides good protection to your head and neck when the wind blows. Combine this anorak with Whirlpool bibs for an exceptionally comfortable and secure combination for cold, rainy, and windy conditions in cold water temperatures (i.e. Alaska) or a shorty wetsuit for paddling in rainy and windy conditions in mild water temperatures. OuterCore Long Sleeve Insulation
OuterCore garments are four-way stretch, mid-weight fleece offering excellent thermal values, superb comfort, and superior moisture management. The Velour inner face is warm and soft against the skin, and the outside Jersey knit easily layers under dry suits and paddling jackets. Flat-stitched seams minimize chafing. This Surfskin bill cap is ideal for keeping your head warm in wet and cool conditions. The stretchy fabric has a wind and waterproof outer layer laminated to a cozy fleece lining. Kokatat sizes its watersport shells with ample room for ventilation and to be comfortable over an insulating layer of pile. Take measurements with insulation on. SLEEVE LENGTH: Measure from the wrist bone around the elbow, with elbow bent, to the spine at back of neck. INSEAM: Measure from crotch seam to ankle bone. CHEST or BUST: Measure around fullest part of chest or bust, across shoulder blades. WAIST: Measure where you normally wear pants or belt. HIPS: Measure around hip at fullest part.
